With the mobile number linked to AADHAAR, the applicant can take advantage of many AADHAAR related online services by authenticating his / her AADHAAR with OTP that is sent for verification on the registered mobile number. This same process is applicable even to change / update registered mobile number to a new mobile number in AADHAAR.
Mobile number change is a frequently requested update in AADHAAR as many applicants change mobile phone numbers. Applicant can request change / correction of mobile number as many times as needed by physically going to AADHAAR enrolment / update centre.
